A Goblin and Another Named Kuiper Object ~ 8 Oct 2018

Of late, two Kuiper Belt Bodies captured astrologers’ attention - one to those paying close attention to minor planet data, the other on a more wide scale level due to Internet news posting.

First the more obscure, however, equally important. The minor planet body 471143, formerly known as 2010 EK139, received the name Dziewanna. This object is a reasonably large Kuiper Belt body of approximately 450 km in diameter. A day on Dziewanna is 7.07 Earth hours. At its closest point in orbit to the Sun it is in the vicinity of Pluto’s closet approach to the Sun and it retreats to twice as far from the Sun as does Pluto. A modest inclination and an eccentricity point out a notable orbital tilt and a relatively stretched out orbit. The body orbits the Sun every 592.51 years.

The mythology for Dziewanna is skimpy. Here is a direct cut and paste from NASA’s Solar System Dynamics page: “Dziewanna is a Slavic Goddess of the wild nature, forests and the hunt. Gold-haired, young and beautiful, she brings the spring and revitalizes the Earth. Wild yellow mullein flowers (Polish: dziewanna) are her symbol. Dried, they served as torches during her celebrations.”

Astrologers can gain some additional meaning from an examination of a body’s north node and perihelion (both heliocentric positions). Dziewanna holds a north node of 16 Pisces 09 and the perihelion (closest approach to the Sun) lies at 0 Capricorn 24. Think of this body as a practical approach toward expressing sensitivities, sharing emotions and releasing a reactionary head of steam. Perhaps a perspective of applying ones wild nature in social environments and an indicator of what should and should not be posted on the Internet.

Given the newness of Dziewanna, I do not yet have raw data for ephemeris calculations and it will require some contemplation to compile keywords. I will keep you posted on those developments. Currently Dziewanna transits 11 Scorpio 50.

Now in the other news several main stream media sources reported on the presence of “The Goblin,” an intriguing Kuiper Belt Object that adds more credence to the existence of Planet 9 (not Planet X a.k.a. Nibiru). This object is 2015 TG387.

However, I’d first like to clear up a few points made in online posts about the Goblin.

The Goblin bears the nickname it does because it was discovered “around” Halloween - actually 13 October 2015. It was described in some posts as recently discovered. So we are to reckon that three years is considered recent. And it was touted as being the most-distant object from the Sun. The Goblin retreats to a whopping 2,123 Astronomical Units from the Sun resulting in an orbital period of an astounding 36,187 years.

To be clear, the Goblin does not hold either the top “way out there,” or the “longest solar system orbit” award. 2016 FL59 retreats to 2,454 astronomical units (AU) with an orbital period of 43,507 years, and 2014 FH72 goes even farther, dipping into the space at 2,995 AU, sporting the currently longest known orbital interval around the Sun once every 59,027 years. That’s correct. Something orbits our Sun in a time interval 238 times longer than what we believed the longest orbit to be prior to the discovery of longer orbit Kuiper Belt bodies in 2003. What a decade and a half can do to stretch perceptions of what must be included within a consciousness of our solar system!

To return to the Goblin, it is notable because an orbital configuring gravitational influence appears to be exerted upon it by a large object further out in the Kuiper Belt, assumed to be at least the size of the Earth. This is the whopping news. A new object, undisputedly large enough to be a planet awaits our conscious awareness, presumably now playing telescopic hide and seek, or waiting our observational technology to next upgrade.

The Goblin’s orbital elements are not yet refined enough to be assigned a Minor Solar System Body number that would indicate the orbit’s determination is “stable.” Its orbital period, closest point to the Sun and other factors remain somewhat uncertain. We do know the Goblin’s node to be at 0 Aquarius 49. We also know it now transits 8 Aries 16.

What to make of these factors astrologically is at this point a best guess. What we must ready ourselves for on the astrological front is that there is a new planet out there... yet unknown... and regardless, we currently respond more dramatically to the unknown astrological influences because our conscious attention now realizes the reality of the more that is out there.

It might be worth journaling out feelings, life reactions and such that do not seem to fit known astrological influences. There is a reason for the unprecedented, the unusual, and the undefinable to boggle the consciousness. Do what you can to feel the influences and to be inspired by unimaginable, extraordinary far-reaching celestial impulses! The results might be simply amazing and no doubt the revitalization promised by Dziewanna adds further sanction.

More soon.
